Meyers to celebrate 50th anniversary

Cecil and Ila Meyers of Grand View will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, with a reception and potluck dinner from 2-4 p.m. at the Grand View American Legion Hall.

The couple was originally married on Jan. 9, 1963.

Those attending are asked to bring a dish for the potuluck and pictures from the past to share a memory.

The event will be hosted by their children and spouses, Marty and Norma Meyers of Mountain Home, Gina Meyers of Mountain Home, and David and Christine Meyers and Tom and Michelle Meyers of Grand View.

In addition to their four children, they have 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
