Career day

Thursday, December 6, 2012

Tommy Arnold from the Mountain Home Police Department explains how handcuffs work to first graders from East Elementary School during a career day event Thursday morning.

Parents representing different careers in town and nearby Mountain Home Air Force Base took time out of their day to highlight their line of work to the students as part of the yearly event.

Staff Sgt. Angela Clagg, an entomologist with the 366th Civil Engineer Squadron, explains the unique characteristics of different insects common to southern Idaho.
Tech. Sgt. Darcy Olson with the base's emergency management agency helps a youngster try out a gas mask.
