Emergency responders from Mountain Home prepare to move a patient onto a waiting stretcher following a two-car collision at the intersection of Frontage Road and Highway 30 on Friday.

According to information from the Elmore County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a Ford Fiesta pulled out onto the highway from Ditto Creek Road where he was broadsided by a mini van coming off the interstate at Exit 90.

The driver and passenger of the car were taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise for treatment while the adults and children in the van were taken by a private vehicle to Elmore Medical Center for observation.
