Police outline AFAD parade road closures, traffic routes

With two days to go before Mountain Home celebrates this year's Air Force Appreciation Day, city police outlined their plans to keep things safe and uneventful.

The police department uses more than 40 uniformed officers and volunteers to direct traffic around road closures during the yearly parade in addition to ensuring spectators keep a safe distance back from the procession of floats and vehicles.
