Investigation continues into mailbox bombings

The force of the explosion created by the homemade "soda bottle bomb" tore open this mailbox on Jerome Street.
At least six mailboxes have been blown up by crude, home-made bottle bombs in the last two weeks.

The incidents have ranged from the Sewer Flats area on the west side of town to portions of the city near Canyon Creek Road on the north side of town.
