Roadwork set on Highway 20

Friday, August 17, 2012

U.S. 20, in both directions between Industrial Road and Anderson Dam Road, will undergo road construction between Aug. 18-23 because the road is being repaved.

The roadway will be reduced to one lane with a pilot car in operation. Look out for flaggers.

Drivers should expect to encounter loose gravel.

A 35 mph speed restriction will be in force and a 12-foot width limit will be in effect.

Sounds like a great time for construction, with all the fire crews and equipment having to move into the area...
