New Three Island Days termed a success

"It was awesome. Nothing like my husband's driving," laughed Kathy Huber of Glenns Ferry after alighting from a jeep that had just jostled her over a small mound of dirt and boulders.

What was probably a minor skip and hop for her driver, a member of the Wild West Off Roaders from Mountain Home, was one of those small life adventures for Huber.

The Rock Climb that afforded Huber her "wild" ride, was just one of many activities offered during last weekend's Three Island Days, which also featured a car show, vintage trailer tours, lawnmower races, a raft race, two dances, a chili cook-off and ice cream freeze-off, gold panning, strongman/highlander games and plenty of food choices from vendors.
