Oasis fire station grand opening scheduled
More than a year after it broke ground on its first official fire station, members of the Oasis Fire Volunteer Department will mark the completion of the project during a grand opening celebration Aug. 11.
Scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day at the station on Tilli Road, the event will start with a free breakfast and a tour of the department's "fire wise" garden.
