County P&Z approves United Metals expansion plans

A scrap metal company in Mountain Home is expected to expand later this year following initial approval of a new processing complex on Airbase Road.

During a meeting before the Elmore County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 27, United Metals introduced a plan to move its existing processing center to a 12.5 acre lot located just across the state highway.
