Rodeo enthusiast competes during national college event

Countless hours of practice recently paid off for a rodeo enthusiast from Mountain Home who competed this month in an event billed as "the Super Bowl of college rodeo."

Justin Jarvis, a senior attending Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, was one of two students in the university's rodeo club participating in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Finals.
