The accident happened around noon at the Glenn Park Village Mobile Home Park when the four-year-old was struck by a pickup truck driven by Annette Bigelow, 35, of Mountain Home.
Information provided by witnesses to police indicates that Bigelow was driving into the mobile home park when the four-year-old ran out in front of the moving vehicle. It's believed that speed was not a factor in the accident.
According to the initial investigation, it's possible that Bigelow didn't see the child run out in front of her pickup.
The four year old was initially transported to Boise and was later flown to a Portland area hospital to treat his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation, and anyone with any additional information regarding this accident should contact Officer Ty Larsen with the Mountain Home Police Department at 587-2101.

Just got the best news ever Adan is home and sound asleep on the couch!!!!
Sun3, is there any updates about Adan? I was told a few days ago they took him off the ventilator and pulled the tubes out of his kidney's and liver? Was wondering how he is doing my son asks me everyday if he's back and can play yet :(
Poor little guy may god give him the strength to pull through I am related to the family and I just dont see how they say his in a stable condition when he is not even breathing on his own?? But anyways accidents happen and just because the parents were not outside right when it happened it doesnt mean that its their fault maybe theyt ran in to get something quickly I say this for my own experience I have a four year old and I let her go playoutside with her older sisters and sometimes I run inside to get her and my oldest a drink and anything can happen in seconds! You just never know its like we could also judge and say why is this the person who did this is not being investigated deeper right?? But then againg we cant and should not judge either side because we werent present. My prayers are with the family and Adan and god willing he makes it!
Poor little guy, I hope he is ok! We live near the park and my son has friends he plays with there...it seems like such a quiet, safe place.
Trouble2011 it's technically not a road. The court we live in has a one way in and one way out, they consider it a loop the way the mobile homes are in here you basically walk out your door and there is the so called road. His dad is usually outside watching them but he ran inside for a minute, there is a 5MPH speed limit and 9 speed bumps in this court and he went to run across from his house to ours to play with the my kids and the neighbor kids and that is when he got hit. It's a very sad situation and the family needs all the prayers they can get for him:(
Sad about the kid but my question is where were the parents? Who was watching the child, I wasn't allowed near the road when I was 4.
While living in another state I was driving down a neighborhood street on the way home when a boy shot out of his garage on a skate board down a short but very steep driveway and smacked into the passenger side back door of my car. I wasn't speeding and never saw it coming. I only found out what exactly happened after I stopped because of the loud sound of him smacking into the car. Thankfully it wasn't in front of my car! And he only suffered some bruises...and he later told me three months of being severely grounded which he wasn't sure he deserved because he said "I already learned my lesson" just from the accident itself. I still have bad dreams every once in awhile and the thought of what happened and especially what could have happened brings tears to my eyes. I hope and pray the 4 year old not only lives but heals fully/completely and I feel deeply for the family as well as for the woman whose vehicle the little one ran in front of.
I live in a mobil home park in caldwell, and I have no small childern at home, but it really scares me the way people drive through here. Speed limit is 15 mph but most are doing at least twice that if not more. There is no way they could stop for small childern or pets. A death has happened before. I don't know what it will take to slow them down I pray for him and that it dosen't happen here.
I am in contact with the family and friends of the family so if I get any updates I will post them here
will there be any updates on the story as the investigation continues.
I hope and pray that he survives, all my kids play with him daily and my 4 yr old son witnessed him getting run over. Please if you read this story pray for him and his family , he has internal injuries as well as head injuries and they need all the prayers they can get right now :(
