Weather doesn't stop aspiring anglers

"I caught one!"

Chevelle Bonnett continued to shout for joy as she struggled to land her catch. After dozens of attempts that yielded just a few nibbles, persistence finally paid off as the six year old reeled in her line and watched as the trout thrashed and jumped in an attempt to get away.

Saturday was the first time children like Bonnett had ever held a fishing pole or cast a line. Smiling broadly as she held up her fish, she now understood the enjoyment associated with the sport of fishing.
