Middle school students begin aluminum drive

Students at Hacker Middle School started to collect aluminum cans this week as part of an annual drive that ultimately benefits ailing children across Idaho and neighboring states.

The school started the annual aluminum drive four years ago to encourage personal initiative among students and to foster their desire to participate in a volunteer effort, according to Principal Nichole Cruser.
