Capt. Francis Imlay with one of his two children.

Mountain Home Air Force Base and the City of Mountain Home paused to honor the memory of a Gunfighter who died March 28.

Capt. Francis "Piston" Imlay, 31, died from injuries he sustained after his aircraft crashed about 15 miles from a U.S. base in southwest Asia.

Flags on base and in the city remained lowered to half staff over the past several days in the captain's memory.
