Holy Week and Easter services

Maundy Thursday -- 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5. Includes the Holy Eucharist Rite One and foot washing rite. Guest Celebrant is the Rev. Canon Lucinda Ashby. Worship takes place in the main facility at 315 North 3rd East Street. The somber Stripping of the Altar by the St. James Altar Guild closes the service.

Good Friday -- 7 p.m. Friday in the Saint James Church on the corner of American Legion and North 3rd East Street. Rev .Deacon Paul Walsh officiates in Communion from Reserve. The congregation observes the Veneration of the Cross with Licensed Worship Leader Lynn Larsen walking the congregation through the Seven Stations of the Cross in the old church.

Easter Day -- 10 a.m. Sunday in the main church at 10 am. The Reverend Jennifer Antonnen is the Guest Celebrant. The congregation returns to Holy Eucharist Rite Two that day in the main church.

Regular services -- All are invited to worship and commune at St. James. St. James welcomes all ages to the altar for communion. Communicants do not need to be members of any church.

Sunday School runs from September through May on Sunday mornings at 8:55 a.m.

Worship is at 10 a.m. on Sundays, with Communion most Sundays, thanks to visiting priests and the Rev. Paul Walsh, ordained deacon.
