On the Road

Greetings from the road! Just returned from a Wrangler Team roping in Farmington Utah, that Davis County Equestrian facility sure is nice. It is located across the freeway from the Lagoon Amusement park. All that was missing was the warm sunshine! The fuel prices seem to be affecting the contestent count at these larger team ropings. The price per gallon for diesel fuel was .35 cents a gallon cheaper as soon as you crossed into Utah. Funny how much they can change with a line crossing. Hopefully our elected leaders can find a solution to these inflated fuel prices before the rodeo season hits full stride.

Looking forward to April, we have our annual Bowl With the Bull bowling tournament taking place on the 21st, Freedom Lanes in Mountain Home and will start working on the Optimist Park arena improvments planned for this season. If you are looking for some good family entertainment, come out and bowl with us. We also will welcome any volunteers who might want to help out with the arena improvements. Until next time, we'll see you on the road.
