Candidate drops from state race

With the state and county primary elections less than six weeks away, a second candidate that originally planned to run for the U.S. House of Representatives withdrew his nomination last week.

Democrat Eldon Wallace announced that he was leaving the race just days after Republican candidate John K. Baird withdrew from consideration.
