Local teen volunteer earns state honor

For her efforts to help youngsters in the Mountain Home community while serving as an advocate for military children, a student at Richard McKenna Charter High School recently earned state-level recognition.

During an official ceremony, Karla G. Rogers was named the Boys and Girls Club of America Youth of the Year for Idaho.
