Glenns Ferry couple ushers in new year with new baby

The holiday season seems to have a very special meaning for the Juarez family. Their oldest daughter, Abigail, was born Christmas day 13 years ago. Their eldest son, Angel, entered the world four years later on Jan. 2.

It seemed only natural that their next child would continue to follow that unusual tradition.

At 2:23 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, Angela and Marco Juarez welcomed into the world their newest daughter, Yarely. Weighing in at seven pounds, 1.4 ounces and measuring 18 3/4 inches at birth, she became Elmore County's first child of the new year.
