P&Z recommends changes to county's zoning laws

Following weeks of discussion with little public input, the county's planning and zoning commission has recommended significant changes to a document that outlines future development here.

Under debate was Elmore County's zoning ordinance -- a nearly 700-page document that regulates residential, industrial and commercial growth across the county.
