Wreaths Across America helps honor area's veterans

The early morning sunlight was no match for the icy breeze that chilled the men and women that gathered in a local park on Saturday morning. Despite the bitter cold, no one complained or had second thoughts about postponing the day's event.

They had a sacred duty to perform.

At exactly 10 a.m. that morning, veterans in the Mountain Home community took part in a coordinated event that simultaneously began at more than 500 locations across the country.
