a glimps of the holiday spirit

Mr. and Mrs. Shawn and Linda Roddin, 1265 Chukar Circle, are known for the holiday lights they display every year. Going to see the lights at the Roddin's house has become a tradition for many people in the area. Each year the display seems to get bigger and this year is no different. Not only have they added more decorations, but have added holiday music. The cul-de-sac they live on gets little or no traffic, except from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. As soon as the Roddin's lights are lit (on Thanksgiving evening) the traffic on their road increases 1000 times. This year the Roddin's also added a Toys for Tots donation box. The Roddin's stated that if people who come and enjoy their lights would donate a new unwrapped toy, the joy they feel (people viewing the lights) can also be felt by some little boy or girl on Christmas morning when they get to open the toy that was donated, with the amount of cars that come by they could donate a lot of toys! Everyone is invited to come by 1265 Chukar Circle (off of South 5th Street West) and enjoy the lights, and donate a toy if possible.
