Hacker students help 'feed the need'

Hacker Middle School students stand around the food they helped collect for area food banks, which are hard pressed to feed the needy this holiday season.

The students and faculty at Hacker Middle School recently collected hundreds of non-perishable food items during its annual food drive.

Continuing the school's former "Feed the Need" campaign, the sixth grade students brought in a total of 689 items with the fifth graders adding another 555 and an office aide contributing 15 more items.
