'Uncle Bob' sentenced to 42 years

A former Elmore County man, who served 15 years in prison for a child sex abuse case here, and who was recently convicted in Malheur County, Ore., on 23 counts of encouraging child sexual abuse by possessing child pornography, was sentenced Oct. 26 to 514 months in prison -- more than 42 years.

Robert Dennis Kilby, 67, had previously been sentenced to prison in Elmore County in 1995 on two counts of sexual abuse of a child, two counts of possession of sexual exploitative material and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor.

  • How sad he was able to vitimize so many children.... with any luck this guy will never be allow out of his cage. I often wonder how many times an sex offender is allowed to offend before our Judicial system deems this person not able to be rehabilitated.

  • its about time they gave him life. I remember when "Uncle Bob" was here in Mountain Home and what he did to those children. hopefully he dies in prison of natural causes. i mean no ill will on this man but God will deal with him in due time.
