Lady Tigers fall to Emmett, Bishop Kelly at tri-match

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers showed the effects of not having played in a week, dropping conference volleyball matches to Emmett and Bishop Kelly at a tri-match at Bishop Kelly last Tuesday.

Emmett 25, 25, 25

Mountain Home 13, 15, 21

Mountain Home started slow against Emmett, dropping the first two games 13-25 and 15-25. They finally got into their rhythm in the third game, but lost 21-25 to lose the match three games to none.

Dakota Dean was 17/17 serving against Emmett. Emilee Schetzle was 8/9 serving and had two blocks. Krissy Elliott was 6/6 serving with seven digs. Brittany Ryan was 6/6 serving with six digs.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Jewell was 6/6 serving and had one assist. Dylan Dean was 3/4 serving and had one kill. Hailey Belt had two blocks and one assist, Selena Foster had two kills, Emma Wenger had one kill and Tessa Pachner had one block.

Bishop Kelly 25, 25, 25

Mountain Home 12, 11, 14

The Lady Tigers struggled trying to find a rhythm in the Bishop Kelly match, losing in three straight games.

Dakota Dean was 9/11 serving. Emilee Schetzle was 6/6 on serves. Dylan Dean was 5/7 serving, with one kill and one assist. Brittany Ryan was 3/3 serving and had five digs. Krissy Elliott was 3/3 serving and Stephanie Jewell hit one of two serves. Hailey Belt had two kills, a block and two assists. Selena Foster, Tessa Pachner and Emma Wenger each had two kills.

The Lady Tigers dropped to 6-8 in conference and 18-18 overall.

They played at Middleton last night (Tuesday), and close out their regular season schedule at home Thursday night when they host Caldwell for Senior Night.
