Lady Tigers lose to Kuna in 5

Although they outscored Kuna High School in game scores Tuesday night, Mountain Home lost a five-set match to the Lady Kavemen, 3-2.

Mountain Home lost the first game, in a close 20-25 battle, but the Lady Tigers won the second, 25-17. Mountian Home let the third game get away, 25-27, but rebounded with a 25-10 win in game four to tie the match at two, forcing the fifth game.

However, the Lady Tigers couldn't keep the momentum and rhythm they had in game four as they fell short, 10-15, to lose the match.

Emilee Schetzle was 18-for-22 on serves, with one ace, five kills and a block. Brittany Ryan was 17-for-17 on serving with an ace and 16 digs. Dakota Dean was 16-for-17 on serving with nine digs. Stephanie Jewell finished the evening at 16-for-17 on serves with eight assists and six digs.

Meanwhile, Dylan Dean was 14-for-16 on serving with three aces, six kills, 10 assists, 17 digs and one block. Krissy Elliott was 10-for-13 on serves with an ace, a kill and six digs.

Meanwhile, Hailey Belt had 18 assists and six kills, Selena Foster had 16 kills and Emma Wenger had five kills and a block.

The loss dropped Mountain Home to 6-6 in conference play and 18-16 overall. They traveled to Bishop Kelly on Tuesday and return to action next Tuesday night, Oct. 11, at Middleton High School ,before they close out their regular season schedule on Oct. 13 during Senior Night against Caldwell.
