City may issue rebates for August water bill spike

A spike in last month's water bills for Mountain Home residents could result in a rebate to water users next month.

"We started getting a number of, well, I won't call it complaints as much as inquiries" about higher than normal water bills, said Mayor Tom Rist. "We didn't just shrug it off as a hot August with people using more water. We took it seriously and looked into it."

    Ok so let me see if this timple mind understands this... the city OVERCHRGES us for water and they MAY refund us. How about instead of MAY refund it, change to they WILL refund us. Get the paper read the full article to see why I am making this comment.
