One year after a local family chose to restart their furniture business in town, a fire caused severe damage to their store Monday afternoon.

According to an initial report by the Mountain Home Fire Department, the fire started in a warehouse belonging to the Consign-Plus New to You store. Flames had already engulfed the warehouse and two trailers behind the building by the time city fire crews arrived. The fire and smoke then spread into the main showroom as firefighters battled the blaze.
