Payton, Wood to tie knot

Alice Elizabeth Payton and the late John Payton of Mountain Home have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tabitha Dorcas Payton, to Michael Patrick Wood of Mountain Home, son of Forrest Wood II and Marge Wood of Simms, Mont.

The couple will be married on Sept. 10, 2011, at the River of Life Church in Mountain Home. A reception at the Elks Lodge will follow.

The bride-to-be is a Rehab Team Leader and Physical Therapist Assistant at Mountain Land Rehabilitation at Elmore Medical Center.

The prospective groom is the manager of the Army and Air Force Exchange at Mountain Home Air Force Base and a student at Boise State University.
