Murder suspect goes to trial Feb. 6

A former fugitive accused of killing a woman and two of her young children nine years ago entered a not-guilty plea during an arraignment in Fourth District Court on Monday.

Jorge A. Lopez-Orozco faces charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of Rebecca Ramirez and her sons, Miguel and Ricardo, when he goes to trial Feb. 6.

Lopez-Orozco was bound over to district court last week following a preliminary hearing that took nearly two months to complete.
