Rescheduled concert in park is tonight

Members of Phantasmagoria will perform in Carl Miller Park tonight.

The summer's final concert of the 2011 Summer Concert Series begins at 6 p.m. tonight, Thursday, at Carl Miller Park and features performances by the The Carl Miller Men and Phantasmagoria.

For the second time this season, weather had forced organizers to postpone a performance during the concerts in the park series, rescheduling last week's event to tonight.

Sponsored by the city's Parks and Recreation Department and the Mountain Home Arts Council, those attending the event are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Meanwhile, Wingers Grill and Bar will open its grill that evening along with a bouncy castle for the children.

Phantasmagoria is described as "a smorgasbord of various elements of blues, rock, jazz, funk, soul and R&B with a southwestern Idaho flavor," according to Sally Cruser, executive director for the Mountain Home Arts Council.
