Children linked to Highway 51 fires

Two separate fires burned approximately 12-17 acres near Loveridge Bridge on Thursday, July 21. Both fires started on private property and did not spread to public lands.

At about 1 p.m. that afternoon, volunteer firefighters with the Bruneau Rural Fire District responded to a fire caused by children playing with matches.
