Under the big top...

A trio of elephants make their way to the show center during the Carson and Barnes Circus on Thursday evening.

Hosted by the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, the circus set up the big top at the city airport for a pair of performances last week.

It took just a couple of hours to convert the empty gravel surface into a fully operational circus, complete with its own petting zoo featuring a variety of exotic animals. Photo by Brian S. Orban
