Cody continues, "I felt my raising $800 by March would be impossible. I washed cars, mowed lawns, shoveled snow and began to hope. When she announced that I and two other "Cody's," would be laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, this was UNBELIEVABLE!"

In reflection Cody adds, "Seeing the Memorials, Smithsonian museums, touring the Capitol, even seeing the President's motorcade were awesome, but Laying the Wreath with the Honor Guard was my favorite thing on the whole trip."

The wreath laying occurred on April 1st, 2011. Cody Ottaway along with Cody Davis from Timberline Elementary, Cody Blakeney from La Grande Adventist School, and Dakota Maura from Enterprise Adventist School, presented the wreath on behave of all Adventist Schools in the United States.

Cody will be sharing about his "field trip experience" on May 26 at the DVCS Award's/Graduation Program which starts at 7 P.M.
