Egg hunt

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Approximately 250 children showed up Sunday to take part in the community Easter Egg hunt, sponsored by Sabre Lodge No. 7 Prince Hall Affiliate.

The older children raced into Carl Miller Park to quickly find the 1,800 colored eggs that had been placed through the park, along with some plastic eggs containing coupons from local businesses or $1 gold coins.

The toddlers, who had a separate hunt, cleaned out the playground at East Elementary School nearly as fast.
