Eric was a graduate of Rimrock High School; Class of 2005 and shortly after joined the US Navy. Eric served five years in the Navy and served on the USS San Jacinto, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Eric was able to travel the world while serving our country. Shortly after enlisting in the Navy he was blessed with the birth of his son Odin in 2006. Odin was the light of Eric's life. Eric was a devoted father, son and brother, and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family and friends, whom he was very close to. We cherished the time we spent with him while on leave from the Navy. We always looked forward to his "million dollar" smile and his ability to make us laugh, because he "loved to laugh." He loved watching others laugh. His quick wit and humor were the best form of entertainment anyone could ask for, or handle for that matter. His contagious smile will forever be remembered and will continue to be a shining beacon in our lives. Eric played as hard as he worked. He enjoyed paintballing, riding his motorcycle and playing computer games. His vast knowledge of computers made him "the coolest nerd" we've ever known. Keep smiling Eric! We will forever remember and forever miss you. We Love you!
Eric is survived by his parents Cynthia and Wyatt Frederick of Grand View, and Jake and Jennifer Hofer of Tooele, Utah, his son Odin Christopher Rodriguez, his brothers Anthony Hofer, Nathan Hofer, Asa Frederick and sister Addisyn Frederick.
