Hacker kids slate health and wellness event

Fifth-grade students at Hacker Middle School will receive a special day of health and wellness education on Friday, April 8, as Elmore Medical Center's Center for Community Health's interactive event -- Extreme Challenge.

The event is designed to help students learn about making smart lifestyle choices and will feature 15 presentations from volunteers instructing about various topics chosen by an event planning committee comprised of teachers, parents and presenters.
