Luna recall petition comes to Mountain Home

Wednesday, April 6, 2011

A booth will be set up in Richard Aguirre Park on April 16 from 9 a.m. to noon in an effort to collect registered voter's signatures for a petition to recall Superintendent of Public Education Tom Luna.

"Even if you've signed a petition before this is 'the one' to sign and will be counted," recall organizers said.

People who would like to become a registered voter can do so at the event.

  • Cantjustwait: Nancy Berto isn't part of any union. She's a retired MHAFB secretary.

Oh, and both your and my tax dollars both are about to pay some Virginia corporation to educate Idaho students. The whole concept systematically reduces Idaho's economy as tax dollars get shipped OUT OF STATE. Do some homework, unless you're still mad at your teachers for making you do yours.

  • nomoreluna,

You are not helping the cause by coming on here with half truths. Where in Idaho are text books published, who in Idaho makes #2 pencils? I cannot find one item in the school supply section of Walmart that has a made in Idaho sticker. Most of the people who read these blogs are smart enough to see through these tatics. You will find more supporters if you just tell the truth. Tell us that you think Mr. Luna has become a whipping boy to the govenor or that he is to weak to represent the school system. That will get signatures.

    Bye Luna!
