Diane Lynn Crane, 57, of Mountain Home, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at her home.

A memorial service is pending at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Diane was born on June 5, 1953, in Redwood City, Calif., the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Hine) Lake.

She married Edward "Ed" L. Crane on April 19, 1990, in Oak Harbor, Wash.

Diane enjoyed crafts, fishing and camping. She was an artist when it came to her paintings and she enjoyed writing poetry. She was also a seamstress. Her greatest love was her family and her friends.

Diane is survived by her husband, Ed, of Mountain Home, her daughter, Barbara, of Washington, her father, Richard Lake, of California, her sisters, Sharon Ansel of Mountain Home and Wanda Desbien of Kentucky, her aunt, Slyvia Musso, four grandsons, Covey, Lincoln, Blian, and Shelton and her great-grandson Chase.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Lorenzen, and her stepmother, Mable Lake.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Diane name be sent to the American Cancer Society, 2676 S. Vista Ave., Boise, ID 83705.
