Letter to the Editor

You need to work at fitness

Wednesday, February 23, 2011

Dear editor:

I want to share with all the ladies. First, I commend all the ladies that are conscious of the health benefits of eating healthy, working out and maintaining a body weight for their height.

I am not one of those women, until I received a wake-up call! After one doctor appointment, I was told that my blood sugar was very high, cholesterol out of control, and I had an abnormal heart beat.

After all that good news about two months later had a stint put in my right atrium, 75 percent filled artery. I had influence from a friend, Mary A., who had health issues that had to be controlled by diet and self control. She has more self-control than any person I have ever met. I lost me somewhere along the way!

I want to share with all the ladies that need a little push, this is what I have done. I go to (a local health club), watch my diet, and discovered I can do this. I received encouragement from ladies that work at (the health club)! Whether you choose (the health club) or whatever health gym, trust me, be good to you and you will be pleased with the results.
