The team will open the season on the road as they take on the University of Idaho in Riggins on March 12.

They host their first home game at 1 p.m. March 26 as they battle the Boise 43rd State Crimson Lines. The Mongrels go on the road April 9 to face Boise State in Boise. A two-day rugby tournament runs from May 7 to 8 in Missoula, Mont., with the spring season's final game planned for May 21 against Portneuf Valley in Pocatello.

Meanwhile, practices for the newly formed high school rugby club begins Feb. 17. That new team is geared for those in grades 9 to 12.
