Time to change our terror war plan

Dear editor:

War on terror is a long distance race.

Our foes are running this race with a distant goal and long-term victory to attain.

We are running like a short-distance runner, expending large amounts of energy in speed.

We can not bring this race to an end by overextending ourselves. We will run out of resources and collapse.

We are running in their territory. Let us change our war plan.
