The Bruneau and Beyond program scheduled for Feb 16th at the the Bruneau Valley Library will feature Dr. Pat Packard of Nampa with the topic of "The Oregon Trail through Owyhee County." She will touch on the importance of the local portion of the trail and what the first view of the area would have been like for the early explorers and immigrants.

The program is made possible by a grant from the Walter & Leona Defresne fund of the Idaho Community Foundation.

Lunch will be served at noon at the Library in downtown Bruneau at 32073 Ruth Street followed by the program. There is no charge; however, the Library requests that anyone wishing to attend either the program or the luncheon should contact the Library by Monday, February 14th. Reservations can be made by calling the library director at 845-2131 or 845-2345.
