Bachman benefit set

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

A benefit dinner, auction and dance for Kit Bachman will start at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Bruneau Legion Hall.

The event will feature music by "Runnin' for Cover."

Dinner includes prime or a choice cut of beef, cheesy hash browns, salad, roll and choice of homemade desserts. Tickets are $15 per person (age 12 and up), $5 for ages 11-6, and children under 5 are admitted free. The price includes dinner and dance.

Admission to the dance only is $5 at the door.

Bachman was seriously injured in a car accident last month. He has already had numerous surgeries and is expected to need even more. The money raised will help Kit and Crystal with their expenses on his path to recovery.

Anyone who would like to donate an item to the auction should contact Brandi Lisle at 208-845-2042. To volunteer or for more information, call Jacque Black at 208-845-2252.

A large number of items already have been donated to the auction, including two cut and wrapped beef halves, tack for horses, a four-day three-night stay at a cabin in Garden Valley, a custom carousel horse, a Tasco telescope and other items.
