Talkin' Tigers wins at Columbia

Friday, December 17, 2010

For the second time this season, the Mountain Home High School Speech team won the sweepstakes award at a tournament as the Talkin' Tigers defeated 14 other schools at the Columbia Speech Tournament last Saturday in Nampa.

Three weeks earlier, the Talkin' Tigers took the sweepstakes award at the Canyon County Classic Speech and Debate Tournament, finishing ahead of 21 rivals.

The Talkin' Tigers have always done well at the Columbia Speech Tournament, posting two wins and two seconds in the four years the tournament has been in existence.
