Santa will meet with children at library

Laurice Bentz, a local author, will have a book signing in the commons area of the Mountain Home Public Library this Thursday, Dec. 16, beginning at 5 p.m.

Her book, "To Ride a Rainbow," a children's story book, is coauthored with Judy Martin and illustrated by Brenda Raub of Mountain Home.

Afterward, Santa's annual visit to the library will begin at 6 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present to read a story, Christmas carols will be sung, and every child will be offered a bag of treats before leaving. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras and take pictures of their child with Santa.
