Suicide prevention seminar set

A suicide prevention workshop will be held Dec. 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Nazarene Church, 950 N. 7th East St., in Mountain Home.

The workshop is being organized by Steve and Karen Riley of Creating Options counseling services.

Noting the rash of suicides that have plagued the community during the last year, Karen Riley pointed out that "the holidays are always the worst time for people who are depressed. Sometimes they take a permanent solution to what is really a temporary problem.
