Students in the journalism program display their awards.

The Mountain Home High School journalism program swept the awards at the Idaho Student Journalism state conference Oct. 29-30.

This is a good example of how school programs provide students additional opportunities to excel. It's not just about the 3 R's anymore. Because I don't know (not because I want to stir the pot), was this program going to be eliminated if the levy were not passed?

  • I am very happy, my senior yearbook took best in show. As the business manager for the 2010 book, I was in charge of designing and mkanaging Senior dedications and advertisements. Bridget Sinerius was the editor and spent hours upon hours working on the book, making sure everything was just right. Thank you to all of the local businesses who bought ads and contributed to the 2010 yearbook.
