Veteran's Day event scheduled for Thursday

Frank Dalton with the American Legion Post 26 honor guard renders honors during last year's Veteran's Day observance at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.

Veteran's Day ceremonies will be held Thursday, beginning at 11 a.m., at Mountain View Cemetery.

Col. James McClennan, 366th Maintenance Group commander at Mountain Home Air Force Base, will be the featured speaker.

Also scheduled to speak will be American Legion Post 26 Commander Rich McMahon, Post Chaplain Jim Blanton and Mayor Tom Rist.
