4-H squad competes at regionals in Lego competition

The Elmore County 4-H FIRST Lego League-Robotics team, "The Mad Hatters," attending its first tournament in Twin Falls Saturday.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology.

Robotics is a "brain sport" where the team sets up a playing field of mechanical Lego devices.
